Wine Notes: As close to an everyday red burgundy as you can get. Complex for the price point and with long, lingering fruit. This is excellent quality from one of the Macon Villages.

Macon-Verze is one of the select Macon villages that is also permitted to make reds, most can only make whites. The other producers in area should give you some indication of the quality level - leflaive, desjourneys.

Farming Notes: Organic with some biodynamic practices.

Producer Notes: Initially training as a Somm Nicolas Delfaud followed his passion for wine into its natural end - winemaking. In 2009 he took on 4 hectares of vines in Verze. He converted a barn at his home into his winery and has slowly increased his holding through the years.
