Wine notes: This will nestle into a a mid-week dinner table very nicely, remarkably good at lunch too. Happy chardonnay in a clean, not too oaky, accessible style. Suitable at a dinner party wine when quantity is as important as quality. A Macon alternative at a great price. Clean and a very light oak adds texture without becoming cloying. A crisp but rounded Chardonnay. 

Farming notes: Sustainable, bee friendly viticulture. 

Production notes: The small Campo Fiorito vineyard is on north-east facing slopes within the estate of IL Cascinone, Piemonte. This is a cool site in a warm climate which helps with slow maturation and concentration in the grapes. 15% of the wine is oak aged.
