Wine Notes: This is an incredibly well made Syrah from the Luberon, south of Syrah’s home in the Rhone but in the equally spectacular Provence. This wine is like a drive through the riviera. Smooth, sexy Garrigue, thyme and rosemary with developed but pure fruit.
Producer Notes: Maine et Jean-Marie Guffens Heynen is better known for ethereal and precise Burgundy’s that fetch £££’s. He’s also behind Verget and L’Interdit labels. This further proves his unstoppable winemaking prowess.
