This wine originates from San Casciano Val di Pesa - part of the Chianti region though Silvio Messana, like many young winemakers has decided not to stick to the regions rules and make a IGT wine instead. This allows more creative control over the winemaking. The ‘Tin’ is a biodynamic wine made in clay vats and an excellent expression of Tuscan Sangiovese.
