Wine Notes: ‘La Guerrerie’ is a 0.75 hectare plot in Touraine. The wine spends 10-12 months in Demi-muids and burgundy barrels. This is Malbec unlike Malbec you’ve had before, precise, fruit driven and lighter on the plate than heavily extracted versions you usually find. 

Farming Notes: Organic. From 35 year old vines on clay and flint soils. 

Producer Notes: Jean-Marie and Thierry Puzelat have been organically farming since 1994. Grapes are hand harvested, wines are made in a low intervention style with zero sulphur. Natural yeasts are used.
