Wine Notes: This is a relatively new cuvée to the Margaux range. As the estate has grown over its considerable history grapes that were once destined for the second wine of Margaux, La Pavilion, now make it into this wine, their third wine. Grapes are still of the high, consistent quality associated with the main wine but they may come from higher yielding, or younger vines. As such the wines are more accessible for earlier drinking. 

Farming Notes: Chateau Margaux is a traditional estate with dedication to working towards the best methods. They are experimenting with horses in the vineyards to reduce the reliance of heavy agricultural machinery which can cause compaction. Interventions in the vineyards are considered, minimal and organic. 

Producer Notes: Château Margaux needs little introduction. This is one of the highly valued Bordeaux 'First Growths'. The wines are revered throughout the world for their concentration, finesse and their ability to age.
