Info: This is a Melon Blanc from Loire, so Muscadet would be your most traditional reference point. However, this is a wine with some real character. When the grapes are pressed they leave the juice in contact with the skins for longer than normal which gives this wine and impressive colour and flavour profile with added texture. The wine also has a more saline/savoury feel. Really interesting and great to try for something a little off the wall or if you are looking for a white wine that goes with a heavier meal.
